Logonix Wireless is a robust and high-speed Internet access service provided by Logonix Corporation that can get you Online...All the Time. It is delivered to you via a special radio connection. It costs a fraction of ADSL and does not even require that you have a local telephone service (many of our customers keep a cell phone for talking and use Logonix Wireless for surfing). Wireless speeds are equivalent to ADSL speeds and in some cases can exceed ADSL speeds. What really makes Logonix Wireless the smart choice for Internet connectivity is the FACT that it is far less expensive than ADSL or Cable Modem access each month. Plus, Logonix Wireless frequently can service areas where ADSL and Cable service cannot reach. Logonix has the largest number of access points in our area and we are continously pushing the envelope to expand services to more areas.
Our standard Wireless offering is a twelve month contract, but we also have custom college student contracts based on semester, school year, or calendar year.
The service pricing is indicated in the table below. Not all wireless locations support all of the listed data-rates so you will need to contact us for details particular to your location.

The wireless access device must be professionally installed by Logonix authorized technicians. The installation can be complex which necessitates the equipment installation fee. Installation includes the following:
A Logonix technician will connect one ethernet device to the wireless access device and make sure it works with the connection. Any other devices are the customers responsibility; however, Logonix can provide a technician at $75 per hour for complex connections if you need.
Wireless technology generally requires line-of-site to be effective. There may be issues of interference from trees, buildings, or other wireless signals that might prevent a good connection from being made at your location. In order to determine whether or not the wireless connection will work at your location we need to send a technician out to create a test connection with our test equipment.

Once you have received a successful site-survey result from Logonix Corporation and you have determined that you wish to order the service we have some things to do.
First, you will need to come to our office to sign the service agreement. The agreement is a simple contract that outlines the usage policy, monthly charges, due dates, etc.
Second, you select an email address and password for your Logonix account. This is very important because service-related messages and billing information are sent to you at this address. We understand that you may have another email address that you prefer to use, and we can certainly allow for forwarding from this new Logonix email address to your other address; however, we do require that this new Logonix email address be our contact email address for you. It may be in a form like either of these:
where mailboxname is a name of your choosing and subdomain if used may also be a name of your choosing.
Third, we will need to schedule an on-site appointment for our authorized technician to install the Logonix Wireless Access Device for you.
The equipment needed is minimal:
You provide the computer with ethernet port. Logonix will provide the wireless access device. Logonix will connect one device for you to make sure the connection is working.
Basic installation with a single computer is as simple as plugging the wireless access device's ethernet cable into your computer's ethernet port and setting your computer up to obtain network addresses automatically. Sharing the Logonix Wireless connection with multiple computers is almost as easy. Just get a router/firewall appliance which provides network address translation capability and dynamic configuration capability. Plug your computers into the firewall and plug the firewall into the Logonix wireless access device. Please see our Resource Center for more details.
